Visiting memory lane, while working on our last feature, we remembered the amazing time we had at Hanzell Vineyards over a year ago. Nestled at the toe of the Mayacamas Mountains, this family farm is home to the oldest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines in the Western Hemisphere. A property that anyone would dream of calling home, Hanzell is fully committed to the land they own and it shows with their bio farming practices. From sheep acting as lawn mowers to pigs acting as tillers, Hanzell takes great pride in making sure the terroir they care for is helping produce the best wines possible.
Welcome to the home of Wine Destinations
We look forward to sharing with you our travels, the wines we are drinking and hopefully help you find your next wine adventure! 🍷
We are often asked: Of the wineries you have visited, which is your favorite? It’s a question that is almost impossible to answer, but one that we love to get because it gives us the opportunity to visit memory lane. There are many dimensions to this question. For example, are people asking about our favorite tasting, the prettiest setting, the coolest design or do they want us to break it down by country. In an attempt to try and answer this complex and tricky question, we have decided to put together Wine Destinations TOP 5 Family Wineries to Visit.
