El Día V Five Emblematic Wineries One Great Experience

Ribera del Duero became the playground for 700 wine lovers during the inaugural edition of El Día V Experience. El Día V, which was inspired by the event Barrio de la Estación, that takes place biannually in Rioja, included visits to five of the most emblematic wineries in Ribera del Duero.

Divided into five routes and transported in buses, the guests had the opportunity to visit, in alphabetical order: Bodegas Alión, Bodegas Emilio Moro, Bodega Pago de Carraovejas, Bodegas Protos and Bodega Tinto Pesquera. At each stop the wineries served two of their signature wines and two tapas. The stay in each winery lasted two hours and included a guided tour of the winery and leisure time to enjoy the winery grounds, different activities and of course drink some great wines.

The event ran smoothly and besides an uncontrollable burst of rain at the last stop everything seemed to have gone according to plan. Happy to be able to say that the buses were able to stay on schedule throughout the whole event and that the wineries did not run out of wine or wine glasses. A testament to the hard work of the organizers and the diligent attention to detail by the wineries.

There are many highlights of the event but perhaps the one we appreciated the most was enjoying how each winery presented the experience in a different light and how the unique personalities of each winery shined through. The event is expected to be hosted biannually and by the looks of its success, we expect that in 2027 it will be another sold-out affair.

In summary, El Día V gives wine lovers from different walks of life the opportunity to come together and enjoy first-class hospitality and delicious wines while building new friendships and creating joyful lifetime memories.
