Tucked away down a nature adorned alley in Mendoza’s famed region of Las Compuertas, you can find the terroir rich oasis of Finca Bandini. Focused on producing ultra premium small lot wines, the project is the vision of proprietors Susana and Federico Bandini. When Federico, a native of Lújan de Cuyo, found out that a small working vineyard was for sale he jumped at the opportunity of pursuing his dream of making wines that showcased the best that Mendoza has to offer. After years of renovation, including the Herculean task of transforming a non producing olive grove into a vineyard, Finca Bandini is now the largest vineyard in Las Compuertas.
In an intimate setting, overlooking their vineyard and the postcard inspiring views of Mendoza, Finca Bandini House of Wines, is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine. The farm is located between two irrigation canals which carry the water that flows down from the Andes, destined to the flood gates that control the water of the region. The sound of the water flowing along with the breathtaking setting, create a Zen like environment, which awakes your appreciation for nature and helps you connect with the wines produced on the property.
One of the features that is helping Finca Bandini produce some outstanding wines is the proximity to the riverbed of the Mendoza River. The combination of rocks of different sizes and the clear water that filters through their grounds create a diverse terroir which gives the Bandini Family and its experienced team the ability to craft wines that showcase the uniqueness of the region. We found their wines to be fresh, structured and elegant.
Apart from the great wines and the delightful setting, one thing that will make your visit one to remember, is their first class hospitality. At Finca Bandini we felt completely welcomed and at home. If you are looking to escape to a serene wine country oasis in beautiful Mendoza, Finca Bandini is a reservation you for sure want to make.
